Advert Ideas and plan: Child allergies

Today in class we had to create a new advert. And the first idea that I had was an awareness campaign on fast fashion, it would focus on the repercussions and the effects it has on people. My target audience will be fathers or families. My main ideas would be:

- Explain there are other ways of not making such a waste
- Inform about the effects on the environment
- show the waste products and health implications on people, especially children

Achim Lippoth (2015)

This campaign named "Make a Child Cry." is used as an awareness advert for the lack of medical care around the world, and how some minutes of pain can change or save children's lives, this campaign is focused on treatable diseases that without proper care can become lethal, I really like how its simple and direct through the message and the image. And the typography is simple and easy to read, I would implement this in my own advert.

This is a prevention or awareness campaign that explains what is needed so children do not contract bronchiolitis, it contains the external factors that can be managed by the adult, and what stuff is better to avoid. I like the way it displays the information.

The campaign above portrays a disease and the need to take care of that disease like you do with a teddy bear. It is a collection of different teddy bears, each with an explanation of the disease, even though the bear itself is self-explanatory.

I chose to make my advert based on the allergic reactions of children due to fast fashion (dermatitis), I began investigating and researching for some inspiration, and due to the forthright of the topic it is an easy way of communicating the message. I started thinking about what I would like my advert to look like and thought of the first ad, a direct picture ad some informational text something that would let parents know without stressing them out. And because the logo is not that big in each research I would consider it good to make it noticeable but not as big, so it doesn't distract the audience from the main objective.

I would like to use baby hands or maybe a baby item of daily use with the tagline, " See the signs, don't let it pass," " They shouldn't have to bear the pain," or "Make it pass, take action fast." The company's name could be "Safe Growth" or "Safe & Healthy"  to follow the idea of protecting and preventing children's diseases. The campaign will focus on informing and preventing skin diseases in children. The next post will focus on the creation of the advert.
