In this post I will be developing my 3D outcome or to be specific a block of my building, that has to be build differently from the rest of the building because of the circular shape it has and the measurement it will have as the scale is 1:100.
First I started to design using tinker cad the oval shape I will used I my model to create the second piece of my model. I intended to 3D printed this as the measuring is to small, about 7.9 cm tall an 3.6 cm wide. To do this I added two sphere shaped forms to make the void affect I deleted the solid part of the inner shaped, so it look like a wall and the piece would be easier to assemble.
I tried to do this but I did not take into account the time and neither I took into account the size refence as it worried that the piece it will not come out as expected. So I decided to chose another option to create the shape, I chose a similar material to the rest of the structure is made of plywood, I chose wooden sticks.

To use this I first used sand paper and sanded individually each wood stick afterwards I measured them and cut them taking into account the measurements I already made.
After I had already finished cutting and sanding the wood, I used a clear acetate sheet on the top part as a leading point for the shape it was supposed to have and gray board on the bottom to act as a support base for the sticks.
This is one of the final 3D outcome pictures I got and as it is possible to see some of the sticks are crooked, as they dry improperly. I want to explain the reason on why I chose to design this part of my design this way, Initially because I was afraid that the 3D machine would fail as it was a piece very thin and small. and then the idea of using woof came to my mind I consider it would be easier, which it was not, because during the process of gluing the super glue I used did not wok which make the pieces move when I tried to let go of them. Essentially I came to understand that I could have taken the risk of 3D printing but I do like the texture and uniqueness it gives to my model. I could have added more sticks to make it look more like a wall but I was scared it would look to full.
