Research: What does a Lifestation need

 In this post, I will talk about what are the requirements a lifeboat station needs and what are the facilities that will be located on the first and ground floor 

The ground floor will have

A care area for first-aid care is easy to access but far enough from the public eye, a visitor center for the public to educate them about water safety, a changing and drying room for the crew, and a mixed-gender bathroom near the entrance. As well as a workshop for the things needed like equipment or a repair station for the boat this will be located right beside the valley where the ship will be located. Also, I took inspiration from the lifeboat station built by the RNLI team, which has a gift shop,p and decided to add it to my design.

The first floor will have the accommodation for the crew, like the bathrooms, kitchens, and a dining place overall the facilities the crew needs to to rest and use daily. 

Also on the ground floor the boat and the equipment related to it will be located in a valley because I will be designing the station to be an inshore life station I also will need to add the crane that will help with the mobilization of the boat. So I will need to take into account the space needed for the boat and the crane on the ground floor.
